The outer bulbs should be the 9007 (low beams) and the inner bulbs should be the 9004 (high beams).

I think the bulbs are indexed and will only go in their appropriate side. As mentioned the plugs are the same other than how they are wired.

I could have it wrong but from other threads and websites I understood that:

-inner (larger) lense section should be 9007, low beam.

-outside (smaller) lense section shoold be 9004, high beam.

Do I have this wrong? thanks for any input.

I could be wrong as I didn't confirm it on the truck. Looking at the two wiring diagrams I have it shows the lows as the outer lights and the highs as the inners.

Bulbs will go in either side. I have 9007 on outside and 9004 on inside. The wiring harness allows you to have all 4 burning on high and low. 4 filaments on low and 8 filaments on high. Plus you can do the trick to the fog lights that allow the fog lights to burn on both high and low and really light up the night.

Not to my knowledge. Has worked fine for me for a year. I did have a plug go bad, but I was told it may have been from me switching the wires around and not having a good tight connection and causing higher resistance, causing the plug to melt. I fixed that today and back to new so far. I will keep an eye on it though.

OMG you guys saved me, My yellow old stock lights are terrable and I almost bought new standard stock ones. This kit will be in my 1995 soon! This is what high beam looks like on my way home on a 4 lane highway during a nasty wet snow storm with trees down everywhere, ran over a few alders cause I couldnt stop in time, Totally upsetting how bad these old lights are.

I want to order this upgrade but suvlights is still down, and im sure everyone is correct that i cannot run 4 headlights threw the stock relay. anyone know where else to pick up a nice plug and play relay system that draws right off the batt. Glad I bought marine diehards with the second terminals

......I know that this may be a dumb question, but do these sport lights adjust from the front like factory as in 1 adjuster on the inside center and 1 adjuster on the bottom center....the reason i ask is because i got sucked into the non sport head lights which have a single adjuster at the rear of the assambly, which does not allow for enough adjustment.....thanks.....kim.....

I broke down and bought the LMC harnesses. They have relays and are a plug n play setup. If they are too cheap of a build i will make my own. I got tired of waiting for Suvlights.com to fix their page and when i emailed them I got a genrated email that said they werent answering emails while their site was down. So much for customer service - screw em.

Back to topic - The LMC harness was 29.99 each and you need one for each side so effectively - 60.00 plus shpping.

I also got the headlights off ebay for 83.00 and they are very nice looking. I ordered the "best" 9004 and 9007 bulbs you can get off Amazon for about 40.00 for all 4.

For my turn signals I am ordering LED's from superbrightLED.com - I think they are 25 bucks a side, then you have to get a new flasher relay/switch that works with LED's so they dont blink real fast. I think its 11 or 12 bucks also on the same site.

Let me knwo how you decide to do yours! Good luck!

Im not worried if they all burn at once...I just want the lights. Better housing, better bulbs, and drawing power straight from batteries through the use of relays = much better setup. I doubt you'll need both bulbs burning but if you want ti that way..all you have to do is jump one wire on each side.

This is the 98.5 with just the Sport upgrade I did. I am waiting on the 55W HIDs to show up to install them and see what they look like.
