well in the snow i guess i used to much go juice. i swung in 4x4 into a telephone pole. i am getting a new bed but its coming off a greene 02, and my 96 is white!
I am looking to change the entire trucks color, and seeing that the bed will be off we can paint it much easier. I love the gts viper blue metallic, and also i love the rootbeer brown of the
01's. I just dont the code for that one.... I was looking to get the viper silver meatallic for the bottom of the doors for the two tone.... any one have any ideas on what the brown color code is, or anyother unique colors? im looking for uniqueness, but nothing bright like neon greens something simple and subtle....

 

Chestnut pearl, dont know the code though. You should be able to find the code at the body shop easy enough.

Mines Chestnut pearl with silver on the bottom, and I think it is beautiful!

Viper Silver Pearl Metallic Is PA9. Dark Chestnut Pearl Metallic Is PU3 But Was Not Avail On 01's. Closest Thing Available On An 01 Was Dark Garnet Red Code XRV. I THINK BOTH PB3 INTENSE BLUE PEARL METALLIC AND PB5 ELECTRIC BLUE PEARL METALLIC ARE NICE AND YOU WONT SEE THEM ON A RAM UNLESS ITS BEEN REPAINTED. GIVE ME AN IDEA WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND I CAN GET YOU THE CODE.

 

my dad has PB3 on his 1500, but i wantr the viper blue, with the silver on the bottom... on the 01 i was looking for the chocolate brown think it was rootbeer but not sure....

 

Viper Gts Blue Code Pbe Dupont Stock Code Is B9638k. Viper Silver Pa9 Dupont Stock Code B9844k. Still Not Sure On The Other But I Did Find Xvl Which Is Called Amber Fire It Was On '00' And '01' Rams But I Think It Looks A Little Lighter Than A Rootbeer Color. Another Color I Think Is Interesting And Its In The Same Neighborhood Is Pur Sienna Pearl Metallic Used On The Grand Cherokee.

 

thanks for the color codes....im ordering paint through school its 150 for the colrs an clear coat! not bad... thats a gallon of blue, pint of silver and gallon of clear....we use ppg products there.

 

wat color green is on the 01 2500's. Its dark green, but i dont have the color code! Im gonna follow the schemes of the bed and do green over silver..... its the easiest route to take and its better than the white i have now.... any help is much appreciated.

 

That Would Be Sg8 Forest Green Metallic Over Either Wsb Bright Silver Pearl Metallic Or Ws2 Bright Silver Metallic.one Of My Coworkers Has A "99" With Sg8 Upper And Rfk Light Driftwood Satin Glow Metallic.

Try Xtl Sierra Bronze Pearl Metallic. The Color Chip I Have Looks Pretty Close. That Was Used On 01's With Either Wsb Bright Silver Pearl Or Ws2 Bright Silver Lower.

 

The paint code for the brown on that truck in post #10 is PU1, Dark Chestnut Pearl Coat.

My truck is painted that color but without the silver lower.

 

this color came out in 01 only, it was called bronze from the dealer.... my uncle thinks he might have the can of touch up he used to fix his tailgate... i hope he can get the color code.... but the closest i have come to find it was woodland brown satin glow...

 

According To PPG And Dupont PU1 Was Only Used Up To '99. PTL Or XTL Sierra Bronze Was '00 & '01 According To Both. If You Can Get The Vin Off That Truck Call The Dealer Or Give Me The Last 9 Digits And I Will Find Out For Sure.
