Small tires = 16.5-17.2 mpg around town
Guys I took off my 265/75/16s and replaced them with 245/75/16 Michelin XPS tires about 2 months ago. I average 16.5 - 17.2 mpg around town with a little highway miles. I use to get 16-16.5 around town.
I think I might have lost a little mpg on the interstate though. I used to get 20-21.5, now I get 19.5-20.5. I still gained more power, torque, and better transmission feel.
I know this is common sense for installing smaller tires. With fuel prices increasing over the next year, it's the smartest thing to do to your truck.
I thought I'd pass along my insight and experience about small tires. I'm very happy with the look and feel.

Does anyone have pictures of a truck on this size? My truck says that's the stock size and I'm about to buy new tires, so I may go that route. It has 265/75/16 on it now, since I bought it used. I would like to see if its a dramatically different look.
