simple cold weather mod!!

i did the same but i used duct metal cut 2 for each side used large bolts & nuts to fasten it to the honeycomb grill, I'll get pics up as soon as it warms up, temps today are -27C or -17F ...

Another thing ya can do is cut a piece of cardboard to fit just right in front of rad, theres just enough room for one to slide in front of it, that way if you worried about intercooler, it wont be blocking it!!

I have my entire grill blocked off with a winter cover and have no prolems at all with eng temp or EGT's. I think enough air passes through the openings where the foglights are to suffice. Nice mod! Wish I new of it before I bought the expensive cover

I found a great variation in gas jobs. Some I could block nearly the entire rad and it would never run hot. Others I can only block the grill openings or it runs warm.
Our mommy van (Caravan) is very warm blooded. I can only block ½ of the grill openings or it runs very warm and the fans kick in.
Been a bit chilly, too. This morning is the warmest all week only -21°F
