Side view mirror-no heat
Looking for a little help.
My 01 dodge 2500's side view window heater stopped working. I checked all fuses, in cab and under hood. All good.
Next step?
Nothing is labeled on door fuse panel for mirror heater.
Suggestions.
Thank you

When I bought my truck I had no mirror heat on the driver side. It turns out that the conector inside the door was disconnected. The mirror has a pigtail of wire about 6 inches long with a plastic conector on the end of it. I will warn you that I boke almost all of the little barb things that hold the door panel to the door, getting the panel off.

Mine quit on the main glass last winter.
You can turn the mirror in all the way and probe the two connectors with a multimeter quite easily. Mine has power but the element is shot. Saves tearing the door panel off.....

On my 02 2500 I bought the replacement mirror with the heating element from Rock Auto, I think it was about $25. Popped off the old mirror and unplugged the pig tail. New mirror plugged into existing pig tail. Then just snap the new mirror back on. About 2 years now and still working good.
