Should I lose the molding?

Should I lose the black molding on the side of my truck? I've be tossing the idea of taking it off for about a month now, and I was just wondering what yall think???

Well the problem is the paint underneath will look different because it hasen't faded at all being covered up, I would just pull them off and have them painted the same coler as your truck.

Yeah I'm a wee bit worried about that, but I think a little bit of wax will help that problem. Also where did you get your traction bars from? I like them alot.

edit: I see that you had Rocklogic build them, but whats the price tag on those suckers?

I say keep them. Daniel has a great looking truck, but I think the black trim looks sharp on our trucks.

i like it with it and without it, i say take off one side leave the other

nah really, i wouldnt go thru the pain of takin it off and making it look good again.

I think I know whats going on. you know you want them off and you know it will look cleaner but you realy deep down like the door ding protection. well at least that is my problem good luck with your decision...

The protection is great.. especially in tight parking lots.

Cars hit the nerf bars

Trucks/suvs hitthe black trim.

I removed my stock molding and replaced them with late model chrome GMC truck moldings. It adds a neat look. Pics are in my gallery.

dont see them

anywho.......i havent seen them on your truck but the chrome molding are the WORST (i think) never seen a trim that nasty i dont know why the heck someone would want their trim to stick out so much.....but thats just me.

Rocklogic actually built them, that is 3'' pipeing and it is almost solid the hole in the middle is about a 1/4 inch. They set me back 700$, but I don't think that is bad for fabricated equipment.www.rocklogic4x4.com

yes that picture was taken right after dodge gave me a new door because of rust.
