shifter lever

i have 2002 ram , the steering column shifter is so hard to move...

i have sprayed everything i can see....i am thinking it is in the steering column.

any ideas????

You can carefully start to remove the surrounding plastics and see what gunk is in there, or figure out if any wiring is hangin up, but IIRC it is all in a plastic sleeve....a pencil was blocking the defrost vent in my Suburban...yay!
