Hey guys I am looking to buy this truck and it has a skyjacker lift. I was wondering, does this make it a really rough ride or not? Also will it affect my gas mileage? Here is a pic of the truck if it helps. Its a diesel if that matters!

I just had a 4.5 inch skyjacker put on mine Friday and picked it up yesterday. The truck in question looks about the same height.<br><br>Overall the ride is about the same as stock, you feel potholes a wee bit more, but nothing horrible.<br>Mine hasn't had a chance to settle yet though, but I would think the ride would only get better with age, as long as the shocks are good quality.<br><br>Mileage shouldn't be affected by the lift, but would be by the bigger tires the lift was put on there for.<br><br>I don't have any figures yet with my bigger tires, I put them on in early March, still winter fuel here, and have been using my GPS for speedometer/odometer correction, but forgot to turn it on a couple times. :<br><br>Just had a Superlift Truespeed put on Friday as well, but a wire came loose somewhere and my speedo stopped working altogether (along with odometer, overhead trip computer and cruise control) taking it back in tomorrow to get it working right.<br>I'll have winter fuel mileage numbers in a week or so, and summer fuel numbers in a couple months.<br><br>Nice truck by the way.<br>What year is it?<br><br>phox

Thanks, The truck is a 99. I made them an offer but they havent told me yet if they will take it or not. It has 95,000 miles on it. 4x4 also, so just what I wanted. Thanks
