Rough ride, any fix?
Ok, I love my truck, but when she's on the freeway I can feel every bump in the road. I feel like my fillings are going to get knocked loose from my teeth. This can't be normal! I was thinking shocks?
I drove approximately 80 miles yesterday and couldn't talk with my son without sounding like I was yodling!
On the bright side, she did get 19 mpg from the last tank ... with 4:10's!

I have had the truck for about 3 months. Yes, she's been this way since I bought her. I am new to Dodge 3/4 ton and new to diesel, but, come on, I couldn't imagine taking a long distance trip in this thing!
My last 3/4 ton truck had KYB Monomax shocks on her. It was a stiff ride, but bearable! I took that truck half way down Baja California to do some fishing ... I wouldn't consider taking this truck down there, it would knock the **** off you!

"50 front 75 rear. I think the door plate says 50/80"
And your tires say 80. These numbers are for when you are carrying a maximum capacity load. With less load, or empty, you need less PSI.
Mine is quite comfortable with the tires at 50 front and 45 rear, air bags empty, Rancho 9000's on low settings, full fuel tank, and 350 lbs of sand over the rear axle (which I carry summer and winter when not using the camper). With the camper on it's even better although the air bags are way up, Rancho's up, pressure up. It's a truck, but will ride like a car if you do the right things.

i prefer the Bilstein shocks , alto they are a little more costly they carry a lifetime warrenty. Tire pressure is a major factor in ride. might check and see if someone before you installed overload springs on it

The only time I jack up the pressure is haulin firewood. 70 PSI Front and 60 PSI Rear. I've gotten 40,000+ miles on a set of tires.(Still going!) Big O XT 265/75 R16
I personally think you got too much air in your tires. There should be a belly (not really big) on the sidewall of the tire.
Just my 02 cents

I don't know about your truck, but I would check your rear springs, maybe they installed heavier duty types, or an extra overload leaf.
I had a 1998 GMC dually and it was so stiff in rear it was bouncing all over empty, it was the worse ride I ever had.
It did have a modified suspension.
I have a 1999 CTD dually now and it feels like a Cadillac compared, but it's still a stiff ride.
