Rotors Disenigrated
I have a 97 2500, and as I was driving, my truck started to shake really badly. I pulled over and walked around, couldn't see any thing wrong, so I started it back up only to find that I had no front brakes. I limped home and pulled my front tires, only to find that the entire stopping surface on both my front rotors wasn't there anymore. Does anybody know what could have caused this? I had my brakes start squeeling only a week before, like I needed to replace my pads soon, but there was still pad left when I checked it.

Could be a few things:
Pads too hard for the rotor, these are usually the "lifetime warranty" type.
Caliper not retracting due a dirty/rusty cylinder.
Brake line falling apart internally causing it to behave like a one way valve.
Bad rotor bearings.
