Ride Height on 1997 2500 question/ help
Hi all, Have a 1997 2500 4x4 and the ride height seems to be about 3-4 inches lower than most other identical trucks I see around.
I plan on replacing the shocks any day now, and was wondering if I can achieve the increase in ride height with Bilstien shocks, or is there something else that I would need to do like install another leaf spring or springs?
My truck has the towing pkg, plow-prep pkg, not sure if that has any bearing, but I notice that my truck does NOT have the 2 overload springs that my friend's 1998 has and my truck has the heavy duty options... ANyone have any ideas?
THanks a lot!

some taller tires or larger suspension blocks will get you some additional ride height.... spring packs may be getting flattened, in which case it would be time for some new spring packs on the rear....
