Replacement Intercoolers?

I have fairly severe intercooler leaks. Get some black smoke at cruise from smallish injectors even when boost is over 10, and, my EGT's are way above normal for my set up (can get 1350* on setting 5 (non comp) at WOT. Can still pull normal boost (45) but believe B-1B is working overtime to do it - giving super heated air.
Rod at Wildcat agrees.
Recent Dyno run came up 346 hp; about 50 hp below where I should be for mods.

My questions are these:
Have heard repaired intercooler leaks don't hold for long at my boost levels - True?
What is lattest on Heavy Duty replacement intercoolers?
Do I need Heavy Duty at boost of 45-50 or is stock intercooler good enough?

Haisley carries a heavy duty intercooler rated at 100 psi.

Thanks Matt

Had nice talk w/ Van. He was very heplful and has just what I was looking for. Don't expect to go past the 50 lbs of boost I have now but...think I said the same thing when I had an EZ and a stock turbo. Nice people at Haisleys and a better price than I found anywhere else.
Piers has one in testing but not ready to sell.
Spoke with EPP...was more expensive and did not sound as strong.
Learned from the 3 experts I sp with that repairs do not hold up for very long and that stock intercoolers will handle 30-35 lbs of boost, but above that - some will hold up forever but most fail with time. Like many mass produced parts they have varying reliability when pushed past pressures for which they were designed.

Glad to hear you had a talk with Van Haisley. They have always been very nice and helpful with me.

I figure one of these days I will be replacing mine as well.
