I am having a problem with the Recon fender clearance lights that I just purchased.
I need to know if anyone else has purchased these and were able to install them without modifying the factory wiring.

The factory light is a sealed unit with two prongs on the back.
The Recon part has a standard bulb plug that is supposed to plug into a side marker light size bulb socket.

Obviously different. Tried calling Recon, but the tech does not know what I am talking about and does not have any answer for me.
I would like to get these installed, but I am not going to modify the wiring to do so... These should be plug-n-play, and they are certainly not....

I need stories of experience and how you got them to work..

i ordered a set of cab lights and the connectors were the same way. i ended up cutting and soldering them to get them to work. plug an play my @??

I bought a set of LCD lights from a local trailer parts place. Plugged right into the stock backing plates. I'd send the Recons back.

Only problem is, I want the smoked lenses. I know I can get the LEDs from the local trailer store...
