Rattling Windows

Alright, this annoyance has gone on too long. My unit has 170K on it and for the last 10K or so the windows rattle like crazy. Passenger side is worse, but both do it. I haven't pulled the interior door covers off yet because I'm not sure what I can do because the glass is behind the plastic cover and difficult to access through the sheet metal.

Does anyone have any idea on how to get them to stop rattling short of turning up the radio or rolling them all the way down?

Somebody? Anybody? Please? I know this is a tough one, but hasn't anyone else had this problem?

Mine do the same. Normally I drive with the window all the way down!

I bet it is the tracks that hold the window have worn out. Probably have to replace them.

Did the weather stipping in the track wear out?

I know JC whittney has some stuff for weather stripping...

The only other idea is the bolts / screws have come lose or fell out. On Chevy's they have been known to pop rivet stuff together for the windows...

I can't believe it! This is the first problem posted on DTR that my 1994 doesn't have. Just made my Friday!

Mopar Man, The weather strip is fine on both windows. I'm going to take a look at the shop manual and see if it references the windows. If it does then maybe the problem is what Rattle suggested with the tracks themselves. When I get the time to find out I'll let you guys know. Thanks for getting the ball rolling!
