There is not enough length to run it underneath the shroud, I had to add 6" just to run it above the rad, I wish they had them a little longer, they work great.

I assume they are made for cars, and not truck, that's why they are short.

I already sent a note to LMC to possibly get 2 sizes, but It might be too tough to have the mfg (in China) change it.

I have no problem with my lights switching

I am having that problem also. I think I am going to make a little harness that runs the driving lights when the parking lights are turned on. Basically the parking lights will activate a relay to power the driving lights. Simple? No. But it should take all the load off the headlight switch.

hi
had a similar prob with fog light operation !
go to your right headlight factory plug and if it has a red and orange wire switch it with the black wire terminal in the plug !
it has to do with the grounding / current flow / direction .
cured all my problems !

I looked on all the bulbs I have. Stock, Silverstar, Flosser and saw no E in a circle on them.

hey guys- i got these projector lights on my truck and quite frankly, im disapointed. i could have spent $300 a lot better! you cant use xenon bulbs they'll melt so im stuck with what they gave me, 9005k. These are aweful headlights an i recommend not getting them. i only bought them so i could have that "bmw halo" headlight look and the halo isnt even that bright! To the point, these headlights are not bright at all in fact my low beams are brighter then highs! Go figure, if in any case stick with stock headlights and upgrade to xenons and clear corners, that still looks amazing.

will a heavy-duty headlight harness such as this work with projector lights?

http://lmctruck.com/icatalog/de/0020.asp

the harness is for 9004 bulbs (in my application).
from what i have read on here, the projector setup (H1 bulb & 9005 bulb) comes with an adapter to plug into the factory 9004 location.
this being said, would the harness/relay work as it does not (i think) interfere with the projector wiring directly?

im all ears.

thanx
It's not likely that your daytime running lights will work with the relay kit, so you'll have to disconnect them.

HTH,

Thanks, but the E needs to be on the glass of the headlight, not on the bulb.

At the moment I'm stuck with either replacing the stockers with stockers or with removing them completely and installing E signed lights in the bumper.
