Powersteering / Vacuum Pump Seal

Just replaced seal between powersteering and vacuum pump on my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 and wanted to pass on the seal number. The original seal was GACO DPSM28387V. The replacement seal was National Federal Mogul 28 X 38 X 7 (1.102 X 1.496 X0.276) part # 2C06069.

Hopes this helps - Got tired of the oil leak between the powersteering pump and vacuum pump!

Hey guys/gals,

I just did some similar wrenching on my truck (see sig). I bought the o-ring repair kit from www.fixingrams.com to complete the job. The video and the little plastic tools that are included with the kit made this job very easy, I would highly recomend this to anyone who has any concerns about not being able to do this themselfs.

Cheers,
Sean.

How much did you pay for the replacement, if you don't mind.

Good to know, I have noticed what looks like motor oil in my PS fluid. Can't get the website to come up though.

edit: there's no 'g' in it

I can't find the number right off hand, just call them and ask for the part. The kit comes with a seal and a timing cover gasket as well as instructions. BTW, the last one I installed included a double lipped seal.
