power windows all the time
i found it on another forum, i know it works on 12v not for sure any others, you can run a jumper wire from the power seat fuse to the power window fuse giving it 12 volts all the time, alowing you to use your power windows without key in on postion, i did it on my truck pretty cool, but was wondering if anyone thinks it would hurt anything, over loading anything with 12 volts being on all the time

The voltage being on all the times shouldn't cause a problem if everything on the circuit is working properly. However, when the key is on, it will take a draw in excess of 40 amps to blow the fuses instead of the design limit of 20 amps. This could cause problems with overheating wiring.
I have considered swapping the feeds between the seat power and windows power. I never need to move the seat when the key is off, but as it is currently, you can move the seat just by sliding out of the truck.

Seats and window are still fused to 20 amps.

ok, i just happened to look at my truck today when i got out of it a work and noticed my blower motor was running, with key off, i read if you dont have the wire on the correct side of the fuse it would do this, i just did it yesterday and dont remember which side of the fuse to put the wire on

Way to do it is pull both fuses, turn key to run, find the side on both fuse holders that isn't hot with a test light. Jump these two terminals together, leave the power window fuse out and the seat fuse in.
You're done.
You're done.
