Overhead Thermometer read 32 F only.
Well that's about it, the compass works, but the display reads 32 F all the time, about once a week, it will give a reading that's pretty close to the real temp. Is this a simple fix with the temp probe/sensor? Where is that? Thanks a lot!

When mine did that the sensor was bad.
ooops...forgot to tell you that it's located on the left uprite in front of the tranny cooler ...will have a 10mm headed screw that holds it 2 the upright and have a conector with 2 wires going 2 it. I think it'sw something like a $30 part or so.

Mine gets to acting goofy sometimes but it will eventually come back to normal. It bothered me at first but now I don't pay any attention to it. Its located behind the grill.

The connector could be corroded, so look, but it's probablly the sensor mounted in hood or front support and is a two wire thingy.

Well the thing works half the time, but I think something else is going on. It seems now that no matter what I have displaying when I turn the truck off (ie economy), the next time I jump in it's always showing the compass/thermo. I don't remember it doing that, should it be resetting like that? There's not any burned out fuses I can see. Ideas? TIA
