I have 2002 SLT with minimum options and would really like to have the overhead computer (mainly for temp and compass). Anyone know if the wiring is there, do I need a sender or two and the display or new overhead console? This is outside my area of experience.

 

If you do a search for over head console you should find a thread with what you want to know. I would post the link to the thread, but I have not had a chance to figure that out yet. The thread give instructions and part numbers.

There are several rear view mirrors that incorporate outside temp, compass, and dimming. I believe Donnely is one. This would probably be a lot less expensive.

Thanks for the replies. I have been looking for the link and cannot find it. I am going to check the aftermarket but would like to have a factory one.

 

I read ever link for over head console or overhead console or even just console and I didn't see it either... Maybe it has never really been done!

I have done this, its not hard, once you get all the part #s.
Check the classifieds for an overhead trip computer, usually cheaper than the dealer.
