Anybody know of a place online where you can get original decals for these trucks? I've found places where you can get the orignal emblems & badges (not cheap!!!!), but no decals or stripes.

I was getting ready to get my truck painted, and I wanted to replace the orignal decals on the tailgate that say "Dodge" "4X4"

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Check with a vinyl sign company.
They'll make anything you need.

You can pick up the 4X4 on ebay pretty easily. the DODGE may be a little harder but should show up there sooner or later.

There are many other wholesale Mopar parts places.

They are all dealerships who got smart and offer parts online.
Many times you can get parts for the same price from your local dealer without having to pay freight.
Always best to check first, dealer prices seem to be highly variable.

Mine were installed over the tailgate line at the top when it was repaired. I was gonna get new ones and put them on right but they are pretty spendy for what should have been a mass produced item. I just left them and am used to it now. It actually looks pretty good in my opinion.

Just go to any sign shop, they are very easy to make and cheap, the font is called Dodger if they dont have it, they can find it on the internet for free. I have made many of them as alot of people dont like the factory colors, and want something nicer that matches or works better if they have stripes on them.

I say just leave them off look so much cleaner.
