Now I like sitting in my truck!!

I put a set of seats with the center console out of a 2004 GMC in my truck today. They are gray, just like the Dodge seats and they sure are comfortable.

What did you do about your seatbelts? They were integrated in the Dodge seats. That required a much stronger seat frame than other trucks have.

Seat belts are in the seat just like the Dodge ones.

Did they have the same or very near the same mounting holes? I know those are reinforced to handle the stresses from an accident.

It took some searching, but I got these for $100.00. They were filthy and required a lot of cleaning, but they cleaned up real nice. I did not want to buy a $500.00+ set of seats and find out they would not work.

The mounting bolts were not the same. I had to drill holes, but they were close and they went through the reinforcement plate for the dodge seats. I also had to fabricate two brackets for the front outer corners.

bump for that. I want to see some pictures. I wouldn't mind a more comfy seat in my dodge either.

Looks good, but I hope you never get in an accident and the mounts come loose and your insurance refuses to pay a claim because of the switch.
