no low beams
started looking over the weekend to fix my issue, no low beam lights.
I put in a new lightswitch, put in a new multi function switch, still nothing.
I was running out of time yesterday, so i only got to check one of the bulbs.
it didnt look like a blown bulb, but it didnt look quite right either.
what are the chances of both bulbs blowing the low beam at the same time?
what else can i be checking?

Your trying to fix something the wrong way , the way that many people complain about how dealerships fix things , " by throwing parts at the problem " .
Also at the wrong end , start at where the issue is , the lights , pull the plug off the back of the light bulb , use a test light to see if your getting 12 volts to the bulb , if not work/test your way upstream to the switches ect.
Anything is possible , what I have found is that the driver does not always notice that one goes out , but does notice when both are out .

I had the same issue with the lows beams not working. What I found was a wire would come out of the connector near the steering wheel every time I used the tilt function on the steering column creating an "open" in the circuit. The fix is to push the wire(s) back into the connector and use a soldering iron to melt the plastic connector to keep the wire in the connector. Next unwrap the wire bundle cover tape some to provide more room for the wire bundle move and give.
Hope that helps.

Most tilt steering seems to do that , try using the still function as little as possible , because of having an auto repair shop for a long time , and all the fixes I have had to do , I almost never use the tilt in anything I own .
