the fuse.

How about filling us in a little better? Did it die going down the road, or just not engage? Are any other functions not working?

check your vacum lines..... Does your heat or ac just come out the defrost?? Does 4x4 engage???? All controled by vacum those lines get brittle n break and r easy to unhook by accident while messing with something else.

I think that if you loose vacuum the green light will still come on, sound like an elec. problem.

The cruise switches are cheap and fail often.

On the steering wheel.
The three switches come as one part for about $35, dealer only.

I'd check it before ordering a new one.
Just remove it and short the on/off terminals together with a jumper and see if at least the light comes on.

I'm having a similar issue--the "cruise" light on the dash comes on, but nothing happens when I hit "Set" or "Accel." Sound like the switches? The system is getting power or the "cruise" light wouldn't come on at all, right?

Yours could most likely be a vacuum problem, the cruise servo requires vacuum to operate. Look for a broken, rotted or disconnected vacuum line. Chances are your heater controls don't work either? If they do it could be the servo itself.
