if I knew what I know now I would NOT WASTE MY MONEY ON A SNAPON SCANNER. fed law stats that we are to have access to diognostic info but not how so if you cant afford the oem tool you are out of luck as the DRB is the only tool that will access ALL the systems. if you read my post's you will se where I did a pin test and the results. it might be a start to help you find your trouble if it is a bad ground or no power to the ABS modual.

If its the module, your looking at $350-400 pretty sure its dealer only. My light was on right before x-mas and since I was going out of town to visit family( with a trailer in the mountains) I wanted it fixed. I took it to a dealership to have scanned and they had to call the manufacturer of the abs to figure it out. That was $100. They couldnt get me one right away so I went to a diesel shop that got one from a different dealership and installed it for me, $405. Then I had to take it to a dealership so they could program my tire size gear ratio etc...That was $35. All for an abs light. I also replace the rear speed sensor before all this.
