My brakes seem to work good, until the last 20 ft. before I stop, then the pedal lifts up and I have to press harder to stop. Could this have something to do with the ABS/Brake light problem? Happens without the lights on....

I might take it back to the people who "fixed" it and likely did not do a test drive and tell them it's still doing it. I mean you paid them right? A connector could be the problem, loose terminal ends could cause a bad connection. Seen it many times on Cadillacs. They have special tools that you can use to check the terminal ends, each one is sized for specific terminals sizes. Automatic trans or manual.....sorry did look at your sig. With what it is doing I would suspect a code must be set, something like this it would be hard not to have a code. You could always see if your local "zone" can scan the abs, not to sure if they can or not. A code will be 100X's better than poking and hopin'.
I have a service manual so if you can find a code I can get a trouble tree and email it to ya. To bad we're not closer, I like a good wiring problem. Really offers up a good challenge for the brain, not like the dumb work I do now. Good luck!!

The continuous motor run is usually due to a (inferior quality) relay sticking in the ABS module. I got mine reworked by Modulemaster. www.modulemaster.com
