New Cummins owner in the family.

My brother just picked up a new Dodge a few hours ago.

He went to look at this truck: 1997 3500 . He said it was trashed out. So as he was getting ready to leave, a 2001 pulled into the lot. The saleslady tells him this guy is trading his truck in today, and asked him if he wanted to try it out.

Well, he buys it. And he gets to talk to the owner about the truck! From what my brother tells me, its pretty clean, and the owner was just trading in on a new dodge.

Its a 2001 2500 2wd 5speed QC. 135k miles, and real clean.

He got it for 13,500, and traded his 01 chevy gasser on it. He pocketed 1,000 bucks on the deal! Lucky dog.

I gave him the address to our site, so we may be hearing form him soon! I will get some pics this weekend.

Later.
Phillip

I looked at the truck yesterday when I got home. It looks like he got a good deal. We popped the hood to find out there is an EZ box on it, which is cool. He is happy with it, and thats all that matters.

I did cycle the key 3 times to find 2 codes. One was 1693, and the other was a 04??. I cant remember the last 2 digits. I want to say 0452, but after looking at the code list there is only a 0462. So thats probly what it is. 0462 is "Fuel Level Sensor 1 Low".

Anyone had that code?

Ok, I checked the code last night. Its "0460". I cant find that what this code means. I printed out the legend sheet from our tech facts page, but its not on there.
