New bumper install

Hey Im gonna be replacing the bumper with a new stock one (got hit by an old woman) is there anything tricky back there i need to know about? or just take the bolts out slap the new one on and put em back.. Thanks in advance -A.Wall

Nothing too tricky. I prefer to remove all the front mount bolts first leaving one on each side just to keep it from falling off the truck. Then I take the support bolts out. Remove the 2 finger tight bolts in the front and lift off as an assembly.

I did reverse a few of the bolts from stock to make future removal easier.

Ok thanks. yea i only left the two front bolts in... not sure how many more there are . because i already took the brush guard off yesterday.. just waiting on the bumper now. thanks

VERY interested. Im sure the dealer would charge some ridiculous price, need to get a quote though

I picked up a black one from Pershing Auto on ebay for $140. It fit pretty good.

Yea pretty crazy story actually. I was waiting to make a left turn and she turned in front of this motorcycle (which had 2 nitrous stages, yea bad A i know) and it hit her and knocked her into me... pretty wild. Turns out i may not even need a new bumper so i get to pocket more of that insurance $
