I am in the process of making my SSI conversion fit with my Fisher- DSS will NOT fit with my MM1- the push plates mount in the same spots- I plan on making my push plates into a DSS- but keep in mind my 96 has been plowed commercially from day 1, and has the original steering box- no DSS needed.
We understand you want to throw the plow in the bed and all, but seriously look into who sells what brands of plow in Juneau- it doesn't matter how cheap you buy the plow if you can't get parts at 2AM in a blizzard. Been plowing for going on 10 years now- holds true here and will definatly hold true there.
Put on a SSI conversion- it will have to be cut and welded to the push plates for the plow you decide on (I recommend Fisher especially if you want a V blade) Wet snow means heavy snow- only trip edge blades can really handle that kind of snow well.
Forget air shocks- get Timbrens. Cheaper, and permanent.
BTW, unless Juneau uses alot of salt for ice melting (I don't think they do) you have little to worry about in rusting- save the $$ and buy a regular steel blade not SS.
There are 2 forums dedicated to snowplowing pros- may I invite you to join one of them (or both). As much as we collectively here know about Dodges, THEY know about plowing.

To ans.
Juneau uses lots of salt..should see the cars here ...rust and puss...I am thinking very hard on a Snow way...as there are no dealers here for anyone of the top brands.
I belive I can drop my DDs and install a plow braket and attach my lower bng, to it.
ANY THOUGHTS ??

As of right now I am happy with the install on the Fisher plow...their instructions in the electrical dept for the harness is rather vague...other then that it went into place keeping the lower steer box bearing mount bracket with minimal cut and welding
