need electric window un-roller switch

My pass. window wont roll up. it will roll down though. the drivers side control will roll it up and down. also the lock switch has to be toggled a few times to get door to lock (on passenger side)
I would like to get a couple of window switches out of a newer ram that will roll window down automatically. ANyone know a good place to look?

Re:need electric window un-roller switch

I would imagine that a switch out of newer dodge would probably work so you may want to try a junkyard and search for a wrecked truck. You might also consider taking some electrical contact cleaner and spraying the switch and connections to clean them up. I had the same problem with a 90 dakota---cleaning the connections worked for several months at a time, but it just delayed the problem. DC wanted 50+ per switch; I knew I would be getting a new truck soon so i just delayed the problem.

Mine has relays under the dash for the power windows. I suggest you check under there and find the relays, then swap them. I forget if they are up and down, or left and right. There was something strange about them when I found them but I do not remember exactly what it was.
Anyway, listen for them to click when you operate the window switch, to find them. When you find them, swap them and see if is fixes your window problem on the passenger side.

If it IS the switch, try a junk yard, locally, or online.

http://www.car-part.com/
http://www.partseek.com/
http://www.truckpartsunlimited.com/

Chris
