Need a bit of Help installing the TSB-820 headlight switch relay

Hello, I am putting in the http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1999/cust_notice_820.htm headlight switch that includes the running light relay, it requires removeing 2 wires from this block and running them threw the relay thus takeing some load off the headlight switch and puts a stop to burned up switches, the only problem is I cannot figure out how to release the wires from this block! I bought the special tool that looks like a super small flat screwdriver but still no luck, anyone know where the tiny plastic lock is holding the wire at? Im so fusterated im ready to cut and splice this wire if I cannot get it out of this block

Which way are you putting it in trying to get it to release?

Sounds stupid, but it goes in from the pin side, not the wire side, it has to release a small tab that pushes out against the connector, so make sure you are pushing from the pin side. They can be a bugger sometimes.

Yes. Sometimes if you shine a light into the connector, it can help you see the small tab on the back of the terminal that you will have to release to get it to slide out. A seal pick will sometimes fit in better than a small screwdriver.
