Multi Function Switch
Anybody know where to get a new Multi Function switch (the turn signal dimmer) besides the dealer. My buddy needs one for his 1997 dodge 1500.

Yep, Bought mine at Oreilly's. You'll also need the torx bits with the hole in them. I already had a set. can't remember the name at the moment but a standard torx won't work.

autozone $9 for a kit of various sizes including the one you need.
the screws you will take out are VERY long, and your wrench space is tight, and it takes a long time to get them out. replace them with either regular torx or allen head. you will need 2 or 3, i think 4mm, about 3/4 - 1 inch long.
TIP.. while you are there, if you want to disable the door open/key in switch dinging, unplug the little 2 wire connector to the ignition switch.
