Moog vs XRF lower ball joints

I've had a bad wandering sensation ever since I rebuilt the entire front end. After going thru 3 gear boxes , 2 alignments, steering shaft, rock solid ram bushing and new tires (needed them regardless do to low tread but evenly worn). I solved the problem today by replacing the perfectly fine Moog 16 month old lower ball joints with XRF lowers. The drive after it was all back together was very impressive. Can't wait until this weekend and get the alignment rechecked to see if it can get even better. The truck no longer wanders down the road. I have always liked Moog front end parts and will still use them except for the lower ball joints on this truck. Would of never believed that would cure my issue.

Yeah... I learned too late that MOOG was junk. I have that same wandering problem. Glad you got some new ones.

Moog is the bottom end of the product line from the company now, TRW is above them, and another brand in tops. I'd pass on Moog in favor of TRW whenever possible.

I also used XRF uppers and lowers when I did mine and I think they are great! They have a million mile warranty too, how can you go wrong?
