lowering a 4x4
searched on here and have seen multiple posts about how to lower a 4x4
i'm not asking about the rear of the truck.... thats the easy end...
i'm more interested in the front, i've seen people mention using 1500 springs, but i have never actually seen pictures or gotten first hand info from people running them.
any input on this?

anyone know who's truck that is, and if so do you know what is done to the suspension, its very low for a 4x4.

I am looking to do the same thing to mine. I have called TS Performance and they lowered their white truck by totally changing over to a coil over race suspension. That is not an option for me $$$$. I too have heard that Ram 1500 springs will drop one around 2" in front. With that setup I just wonder how much "float" I woud have in the front end.
Could we order a custom spring somewhere to drop the front 1" to 2" with a pretty high spring rate that the ctd needs? Of course the whole drive shaft length question comes into play. I just wish we could get some definite answers from someone who knows.
By the way I love the way this one looks http://5150ram.com/ It was lowered 3" front and 5" rear but I do not know the details.
