Leaky Power Steering Pump

Crawled under the truck today looking for the dreaded "53" ( was greeted by a "55" Is that ok? ) and found what appears to be a leaky power steering pump. I could be wrong, but a first glance this appears to be the same pump which came on all of my old gm Delta 88's, Impala autos. Mind you I did not get a good look at it, all I know was that it looked like a PITA to remove. I am probably going to do it soon, any suggestions?

Thanks...gary

It most likely the vacuum pump seal in front of the power steering pump.

Smell the oil that is coming out... Is it engine oil or p/s oil? That will answer you problem.

Do a search for "vacuum pump seals" you'll a lot of reading...

55 is good... Your out of the woods now...

I just picked up a vacuum pump seal kit....mine's leaking too
It is Cummins P/N: 4089742 and it set me back a whole $7.41
Plan on doing that when I pull the radiator for cleaning.
