Leaking
I have been working on getting gauges installed and working in my truck. I have been trying to work on them as much as possible but when your busy it is hard to get them finished. Anyway I pulled the gauge piller down to install the light bulbs and found water in the gauge sockets. I think the only place water could get in and end up in the piller is through the door seal. I found a TSB on the 3rd gen Dodge, is there anything on the second gen? Has any one else had this?

Maybe the weater strip slipped under the gauge pillar? How about the windsheild seal? I would pull it apart and sit in the truck while someone sprayed water on that area with a hose to see where its comming from? Good luck

I seen how they test the door seals at the factory, and you can fix that your self just like the factory does. They just run a hose over the door, and if it leaks, the put there knee in the middle of the door, and both hands up top and just bend it towards the truck. Thats how they do it at the factory. Just watch out cracks tend to develop where the window frame and the door come together, usually because the factory already bent the thing several times. If it does crack just weld it back up. I have pulled on mine several times usually to keep the road/air noise out, gets the door to seal better.
