It sounds like a bad connection , the problem is look how many wires there are in the truck , electrical issue can be tedious , getting some info here can help to narrow it down some .
You may be able to duplicate by just going under truck & hood , while running & wiggling wire to all of the related [ fuel pump , fuel shut off , battery ect. ] .

OK ..... ( I know that. LOL .connection. )...Here is the deal on what I think I know.............................................. ......
If I put the truck over to start position the pump will run a few seconds like every ones.
What shuts it off if you do not start the truck ??
So my Ecu I believe shuts dwn for a mil a second ,I feel it, some times it will completely die..other times it resumes running,, other times it resumes running but NOW with no lift pump on line.
I shut the Eng off ....restart , and all is OK CRAZY !!
Freakin dodge anyway

OK to narrow this dwn a bit more.
Out plowing last night and it set up a definite pattern
If the chassis is being twisted a little -front up or rear up and one end or the other has a twist to it the Eng shuts dwn.
It all happens fast .Sometimes I feel the miss , the pump stops (Eng keeps running ) other times it kills the Eng like the ignition switch is turned off for a instant.
I know for sure it is a open either to ECM or a loose GRD as I don't think the Eng will shut dwn if I loose just the lift pump.
What you think ?

No,...thinking it could be in the ign switch ?...... strange thing is now I can repeat this over and over again on a certain hill.
Weird, where it dies it will restart immediately with out moving truck.....if a wire was disconnecting seems it would stay that way till the unit was moved or jiggled
