instrument cluster 1994-1998 Ram

All,

I am a little confused. I thought the instrument cluster was completely different from an auto to a manual transmission. I swapped an auto to an NV4500, and am looking for a gauge cluster from a manual truck. I was told by a local guy that there is just an insert that goes in place of where the auto selector panel is. Basically, this is swapped out for a blacked out panel in a manual. Is this true? If so, does anyone have a part number for this? I did the swap in a 1995 2500 4x4

I have plenty of manual gauges clusters in my shop.
I might also be able to part out a cluster for that manual panel you seek.
PM if you would like.

Black paint is your friend....... just unbolt it, lightly sand and use matte black spray paint........
