How much does my truck weigh?

Hey,
I am unable to get to a weigh scale near me..and even the ones I could want me to pay..but however. I was wondering how heavy you think my truck would weigh? Here are a couple pictures of it:

If you want my .02, I highly doubt that a regular cab with a small wood flat bed is going to top 7k....I would think it would come in at just under 7k....of course, actually weighing it is the only way to end this debate!

I'm with CTD Nut. My 98 reg cab, long box with a large 1 1/2" thick steel plate for a goose neck is 7100 with a full tank of fuel. Even with the dually, I don't think it will top 7000#.

Not to the question, but how are you going to hold anything on the body? Where is your headboard?

Not too mention how is that bed even held up i would figure road spray and winters would just warp the heck out of that and crack under any load.

I just had my 96 4x4 2500 run across the scale - 6320lb - full of fuel. I'd guess the bed is ???? maybe 600lbs that came from DCX? You also have dually rear end so add a couple hundred for that and tires. Taking all that into account, I'd guess somewhere around the lower 6k range...

It's held up better than we thought actually. The 4X4's were coated with a lot of old oil, and then the wood for the deck is obviously pressure treated. We don't use it for carrying that much anymore. We used to carry farm machinery parts, pallets of seed(we would fit 4 pallets on there), just little stuff like that.

Once I have the money, and am done with the body work. I am thinking about either a box, or like a Diamond plate flat bed, with tie down hooks on the side and a head rack.

scale locations

You should look around at some feed stores or landscaping yards have scales with an outside readout for loading trucks just pull up on one of them and read it and leave they may look at you funny but no big deal. also scrapyards always have large truck scales.

I've got a 3500 4x4 extended cab dually with the towing package, bone stock right down to the radio and hit the scales at 7100lbs.
