How to add cruise control to a 1995 model?
I have a 1995 model dodge w/ cummins and a 5 speed and ti is a bse model truck with very few options. I am used to always having cruise and miss having it. I know on the 3rd gens (and maybe 24v 2nd gens) that it is plug and play, but I imagine it is a little different on the mechanical engine. I know that I will need the buttons. Do I also need a whole wiring harness for the cruise? What else do I need? Will gasser parts work?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I gotta wonder about the PCM. While it is possible the CC controls are in every PCM, that is not an absolute, at least you might be able to tell by studying a wiring diagram and seeing of there are missing connectors at the relevant pins on the PCM. I do not know if the harness would be separate enough to call it an "add-on".
You may be better off installing an aftermarket unit.
