The hood liner that covers the hood on the under side of hood, do you really need that? ours is getting a little nasty and just wanted to know if we can take it off and thatl give us more shiny under hood. thanks.

Dodge apparently doesn't think so. My '02 came without one.

It is mainly for sound deadening. All our work trucks don't have them. "Can" it if you want to.
