Kind of long winded but here we go... -30 celcius up here this morning and my 02 wouldnt spin fast enough after multiple pre-heats to start. no big deal. tried jumping it and ended up running batts VERY low. So pulled out a chain and got to towing it. after 2 or 3 blocks it went much to its dismay haha. funny thing is i have autometer cobalt electric gauges and for the last year 2 out of three of the gauges had no lighting. when it started turning over while dragging it and the alternator was putting out a little all 3 lit up. somewhere between then and when it started they went out again??!! bizarre.

Seems like when it gets cold the batteries are the first to go.

Could be some kind of ground issue. It seems to be common with autometer stuff. It causes them to twitch sometimes too. My pyro does that. just sits there and wiggles

Sounds like a ground. I'd suggest plugging her in overnight inthose kind of temps if you aren't already doing that. That can't be good onthe batteries, starter and engine/driveline internals!

luck, Kurt
