Help with tire decision
Need some help on tires. Currently I have Cooper ST (came on truck). Looking to stay with 285/75/16 D or E load for I don't do any heavy hauling. I'm looking at Toyo A/T, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Pro Comp All Terrains, and Cooper ATR. I don't do a lot of off-roading but need something when out hunting. Need something that will last +40k miles and perform here in the St. Louis area.
TIA

Goodyear has a new tired called Wrangler Silent Armour. Has Kevlar belts, stronger, quiter, cooler, All-terrain. Quit as a street tire, but rugged tread.
So, far so good. Several people have them on the site. 50k warranty. Can be had for around $150, depending on size.
Of course, the ever popular BFG AT KO. Many like the Coppers and Toyo.
Good luck!

im not a fan of all terrains, but if had to run a set, i would either run a set of pro comp extreme a/t's or the tried and true bfg all terrain. if your interested, i have a set of 38.5x16x16.5 mickey thompson baja claws with about 3/4 or more tread on them and a set of 16.5 weld racing typhoon series rims for sale .

tried and true bfg all terrain
I know a bunch of people like them but I will never own a set and will caution others against buying them.
As I have stated in other threads, I am currently looking at the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos, or going back to my old BFG Commercial TAs.... while they sucked in all conditions, they wore like iron and were amazingly predictable which is a great confidence booster when my job requires me to drive out in the worst of conditions around here.

I'm running the Toyo MT 285/75/16 E load. I had them put on 3 weeks ago. I live in Montana and put them through the test, Rocky terrian, deep mud, ice and deep snow, awesome tire all around. I also had them siped.
