help on engine for a transplant

i am planning on converting my gasser '94 f350 to a 5.9 cummins diesel. what year engine should i use? 12v or 24v? if 24v, HO or standard output? keep the current manual transmission or replace it with a NV4500?

Re:help on engine for a transplant

when i have the transplant, i'll have roger at fordcummins.com do the operation. i'm pretty fortunate, big sky, MT is in my back yard (i'm from great falls, MT) ;D

i just want some other opinions on the different engines and advantages/disadvantages (if there are any) of each.
