Help - Antenna Fell Off - What Parts Do I Need
Well, I was driving down the road at night and all of a sudden the antenna just disappeared into the darkness of a country back road. I assumed that the antenna had just unscrewed itself and fell overboard. However, the next morning I noted that the mounting stud had broken off - so that explains why the antenna went overboard.

So my question is - what part or parts do I need to order (besides the antenna) to get an antenna back on there? Is it just the antenna stud?
How do I get into the fender to put the stud back in where it belongs?
Sure appreciate any assistance with this issue!

Your best bet is to get to a pull your part yard and try and get one off. You will have to at least loosen the front fender.
I have not had much luck getting them off without damaging something....... I hate the thought of even trying to get mine off when I change my fenders....

When I bought my truck it had no radio antenna. The PO took it off the fendor for clean lines At some point there was one on the roof but that was gone too. I went to my local automotive sound shop and bought a powered antenna that is stuck to the inside of the windshield. You get power for it from the wire (blue I think) that is labelled power antenna (or something like that). I put it in when I was replacing the radio so for me, the install time was something small like 15 minutes. I get great reception with it.
