Heater Problem!
I went to turn my heater from the defrost to the face vent and nothing happened. Is that a vacuum leak problem? Where is the vacuum pump at and how can I diagnos the problem to fix it? 95 cummins

Likely a vacuum leak. Check on the firewall just left of the master cylinder, you should see a vacuum line exiting the firewall with a small T, I've seen the line go bad right at the T, usually you can just cut off a 1" or so and reassemble.
Failing that, the power steering pump connects to the vacuum pump. But the next most likely leak is under the drivers side battery at the cruise control, acid can get on the lines causing failure.
Next likely area is the lines going from the CAD (4x4 actuator) on the front axle to the top of the transfer case.
Good luck,
RR

Your '95 might be eligible for a free vacuum system recall.
