heater fan switch no low or med ,high works?

Mine did this three days ago. Resistor was gone.
When the resistor goes, the fan motor isn't far behind. I did a pre-emptive strike, and changed the fan motor at the same time. Lo and behold, the plastic cage and the motor internals were gunked up with that same crap that covers your rad when you have that funny little puke bottle.
Cleaned up the cage, put it on a new motor, put the new resistor in, good as new.
On a side note, you could barely turn the stock motor by hand. This is what led to the overheating and failure of the resistor.
