Have you tried new bulbs? You could have a bad ground. Check your battery terminals and grounds. Worst comes to worst, you can just buy or make a new wiring harness for the headlights. Ebay or www.suvlights.com sells them.

I would check the connectors for the bulbs. It's quite common for the terminals to become loose and then burn up from the resistance. It will be obvious when looking at the terminals if this has happened.

I have looked at my grounds and they seem fine .I have also replaced my bulbs with silverstar which i find here are probably the best . I havent tried the wiring harness yet that will be my move for the weekend . That and the GM wheel cylinders.

If you really want good lights, get some HID lights. I got so I hated to drive at night because of the combination of my old eyes and the crappy stock lights. I tried Silver Stars, bright box and still hated it. Got some HID's, didn't like paying so much but now I see very well at night.

To use the sport headlights you need to get a wire harness like here for $133...:
http://www.suvlights.com/product_inf...roducts_id=116
....or make yor own harness like here:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/p.../products.html
....scroll toward bottom under "Headlamp Relay Installation Kits" and buy the parts from him except for wires using "RIK-RAM kit to properly install improved Dodge Ram Sport" for $79 or do it yourself using a diagram on Daniel Sterns site.
I am considering the suv harness already made up.

Ya there is good info on daniel sterns site. I dont remember what year dodge went to ground switched for the headlights on these truck but on my 01 the headlights are ground switched. Which means that the power goes the one terminal on the bulb and wheather you go high or low beam determines which of the other two terminals ground. Sorry for the poor wording lol. Just something to think about becouse on the diagram on his site it is for a positive switched setup.

I second the Daniel Stern site, a must read if you have headlight problems. Going with relays solves a lot of problems and allows you to add to your lighting system w/o worry about overheating the headlight switch. Also try this site for more info: http://www.madelectrical.com/electri...adlights.shtml

Those are for the 1500 truck. Are they the same for the 2500?
