Guess I'll have to say goodbye!!
to the 2nd gen forum as I just plunked my money down and bought a new 04.5, 3500 Laramie quad cab dually.
Man, what a difference from my old '99, 2500!! I might even be able to sneak up on someone with it as it's sooo quiet.
Now I'll have to jump over to the 3rd gen forum to read about all the horrors of the 04.5's. Thanks for all the help and advice from all the 2nd gen Ram owners.
BTW, anyone interested in some of the goodies I took off the '99?? I'll put them on a classified ad when I get the chance. Have (2) Westach pillar guauges, 1- EGT/Boost combo guage, 1- 30lb fuel presssure guage - both black face w/white lettering to match the stock dash guages. Also, 1- PowerEdge Comp fuel box.
