Good Old Optima's!

Whenever I start my truck up on a cold start--where the grid heaters have to kick in--the truck has been turning over slower and slower. This has gone on for the last few months. Yesterday morning I went out and it wouldn't turn over fast enough to start, but it kept trying and trying to turn over. It wasn't like the batteries were dead, but like they were weak. I have Optima red batteries, but put them in in late 2002 or early 2003, and so figured they were probably going bad. But instead of getting new batteries I got my battery post cleaner out and cleaned all four posts and clamps and this morning she fired right up just like she was warm! Good old Optima's!!!!
