I like the silver color on the 2001, but I'm a little biased. I would keep it silver and black out the grills, lower finder and a black strip on the lower panels. If you keep the badges, then black those out too. I think the blacked out badges look cool on the Silver trucks. Life always comes down to choices. Good luck..

White, Silver, White. My 98.5 was a factory option then. Other than the grill, front and rear bumper being chrome, every thing else is black.
